An Evening with Rosie Jones
The excitement and the
anticipation for our 2009 Kickoff event has been
building and building. Dates, location and start times
have all been set, and we are ready to open the gates
for registration!
You will find three
links at the bottom of this note. The first will get
you to the web page which contains the event flyer (with
all of the details for the evening). The second link is
the registration form if you are paying by check.
Please print a few copies of each to have with you when
you visit your
favorite
golf course or golf center. The third will take
you directly to 123SignUp where you can point, click and
pay to be signed up for the event! (Please remember
that 123SignUp also includes a convenience fee which is
basically what your Chapter is charged for using the
service. Registration is $40 by check and $45 by credit
card.) Seating is limited, so register early!
All that said, I want
to highlight a very special opportunity that
will be available for 20 of our members.
Rosie is
hosting a
cocktail party one hour prior to the dinner,
and it is limited to
the first twenty members who 1) are registered for the
cocktail party and 2) who get their registration fee in
before February 7th. Here's how it works:
At precisely 7:00
p.m. on Friday, January 23rd,
the registration link for the Cocktail Hour will "go
live" on the front page of our
website.
Until then, you can't register for it. The first twenty
people to sign up will be sent an email telling them how
to pay. The
$150 registration for the Cocktail Hour includes your
registration for the Kickoff, dinner, and the Cocktail
Hour with Rosie.
You will have until
February 7th to get your money in for the Cocktail
Hour. If we don't have it, the opportunity goes to the
next person in line. In order to facilitate speedy
payment, 123SignUp will be available. You also have the
option of sending a check, but the committee cannot be
responsible for checks that do not arrive by February
7th.
During the cocktail
hour, you will have the opportunity to speak with Rosie,
get autographs, take pictures... and of course, have a
drink or two.
This opportunity is
ONLY for EWGA members and is absolutely limited to 20
people. We
will send you a special ticket when we receive your
payment.
For everyone attending the Kickoff on February 28th,
please note the information at the bottom of the flyer.
We will have drawings for prizes, a silent auction, and
Rosie will be conducting a LIVE auction toward the end
of the evening. We will not be set up to accept credit
cards. Please bring Federal Reserve notes (cash) or
your check book.
This is an opportunity
to bring your golfing buddies and show them what EWGA is
all about! Your 2009 Board looks forward to welcoming
